Glasses and contact lenses

 

Since 01.01.2011 the coverage according to the Swiss health insurance law has changed concerning glasses and contact lenses.

The FSS plan covers the benefits according to the KVG/LaMal, meaning our coverage is subjected to changes made to the law. On the 01.01.2011 glasses and contact lenses have been excluded, meaning that they are also no longer coverd under the FSS plan. However glasses and contact lenses purchased before the 01.01.2011 will still be reimbursed according to the laws enforced before that date.
